Ghost

Find out which Ghost posts could be doing better in search

Growth Radar reads your published Ghost posts and pages, suggests better search titles and descriptions, and saves the ones you approve straight into Ghost. There's nothing to install. You create a custom integration in Ghost and paste its API URL and Admin API key.

It uses Ghost's own meta fields

Approved changes go into the same Meta title and Meta description boxes you see in a post's settings, so you can keep editing them there. They appear on the live page straight away, and Growth Radar checks the live page to confirm it.

Nothing changes until you approve it

Each suggestion sits next to what the page says now, with the reason for it. If you change your mind, undo restores the old value, and if you've edited the field in the meantime your version stays.

What you still paste by hand

Ghost doesn't let an API key change site settings, so the tracking snippet goes into Code injection yourself. It takes a minute and you only do it once. For the same reason, your home page's title and your robots rules stay in your hands.

Connecting it

  1. In Ghost, open Settings, find Integrations and add a custom integration called Growth Radar.
  2. Copy its API URL and its Admin API key. There's a Content API key on the same screen, which won't work here.
  3. In your Growth Radar account, open Connect a site, choose Ghost and paste both.
  4. Copy the snippet you're given into Settings, Code injection, Site header in Ghost.
