What we ask Google for
Signing in with Google shares your email address with us so we know which account is yours.
Connecting Search Console asks for read-only access to your Search Console data. Google Analytics is a separate, optional permission, also read-only. These are the permissions Google lists on its consent screen when you connect.
Only if you click the button to submit your sitemap or to verify a site does Growth Radar ask for the wider Search Console permission that task needs, and it uses it for that task.
What we ask Bing for
You can paste an API key from Bing Webmaster Tools, which is checked with Bing before it is saved, or sign in to Bing and approve the access Microsoft lists on its consent screen. Growth Radar uses it to read your Bing reports and, when you ask it to, to add or verify a site in Bing.
Your sites stay in your account
Other Growth Radar accounts cannot see your sites or their numbers unless you invite them.
Removing your data
- Disconnect Google in Settings and Growth Radar asks Google to revoke its access and deletes what it stored to reach your account. You can also remove it at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Disconnect your Bing sign-in in Settings and the stored access is deleted. Bing does not let apps withdraw that access themselves, so remove it on Microsoft’s side as well. A pasted key is removed straight away when you disconnect it in Settings.
- Delete a site you own and the Search Console and Google Analytics data stored for it is deleted.
- Revoke an agent’s access token on the Agents page and it stops working.
- To delete your whole account, email support@growthradar.app from the address you signed up with.
