Generative Engine Optimization

Be the answer AI assistants give.

Generative engine optimization (GEO) is the practice of making a site's pages likely to be cited in answers from AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. Growth Radar measures it three ways: visits that arrive from AI assistants in your own analytics, citations reported by Bing, and a weekly probe of a web-grounded model.

Growth Radar asks AI engines the questions your market asks, records which sources each answer cites, and turns every question you lose into a fix you can ship and see graded. Engines it does not measure are marked as unmeasured, never as zero.

  • Answer share, per engine

The share of your tracked questions whose AI answer cites you, per engine, with its sample size and date. An engine we do not probe says so and says how to start.

  • Questions you win and lose

Every tracked question with Bing's grounding count, the latest probe verdict, its sweep history and the answer itself.

  • Who gets cited instead

The sources each answer cited in your place, ranked, typed as rival, publisher, community or store.

  • Visits that prove it

People who clicked through from ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot or Perplexity, from your own analytics.

  • AI crawlers

GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot hits beside what your robots.txt lets each of them do.

  • Ship, then grade

Each fix names the sources that beat you. Mark it shipped and it is graded 28 days later on whether answers start citing you.
